Thriving Engineers Program
The Thriving Engineers Program was created to support professional growth for faculty and staff in the Statler College annually. The Program is administered by the Office of the Dean, through the Associate Dean for Students, Faculty and Staff Engagement and supports faculty- and/ or staff-led engagement projects with an emphasis on community transformation. The duration of the program is 1 year. Proposals are considered in the following focus area:
- students’ engagement and community integration,
- wellbeing/sense of belonging programming for students, faculty and staff, and/ or
- development of strategies and programming for engagement and collaboration on topics and activities aimed to connect stakeholders (i.e., students, faculty, staff and alumni- if applicable) across multiple units of the college or with/in the WVU community and beyond.
- Open window for application: March- April. Details communicated yearly.
The Thriving Engineers Program Recipients
Funded by dedicated alumna Dianne Anderson, the program offers support of up to $2,000 for applicants over a one-year period.
