Social connectedness and sense of belonging to a group or a community are basic human needs! Here, at the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, we aim to increase our stakeholders' (students, faculty, staff and alumni) integration by helping them develop and sustain meaningful relationships based on mutual trust and respect with other members of the community.
Through meaningful activities and programs, active engagement with purposeful impact, all within a supportive context and environment, we defined and apply daily our intentional strategy to increase the sense of belonging and community integration for our students, faculty, staff and alumni.
Further, to enhance the quality of higher education and promote a fruitful and productive work environment we recognize and integrate our diversity across all functions of the College. A diverse body of faculty and staff are essential in providing academic excellence in teaching, mentoring, research and service to our diverse students.
